Jash Villa

You can find us over on Bhandarwad Road, which is pretty close to the Ganga Mata Mandir. We’re also not far from Devka Beach, so you can usually smell the salt in the air when the wind blows the right way. Jash Villa isn’t one of those massive hotels you see in the brochures; it’s more of a quiet, regular place where people stay when they’re visiting the area. We spend a lot of our time keeping the rooms tidy and making sure the grounds are looked after. Living and working near the beach means things can get a bit sandy, but that’s just part of life here. The temple nearby brings in some people, and it’s nice to hear the bells occasionally. We don’t have a big corporate staff or anything like that, just a few of us making sure things run okay day to day. Sometimes the road gets a bit busy during the holidays, but mostly it’s a peaceful spot. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go over the years, some staying for a night and others for a week. We just focus on keeping the doors open and providing a place for people to rest their heads. It’s a simple life, and we like being this close to the water. There’s always something to fix or a garden to water, so we stay busy enough without needing to rush around too much.
