Hotel Gurukripa

We are located on Seaface Road. You can smell the salt in the air most days, which is nice when the wind blows the right way. Daman is a small place, so everything feels close by. Our hotel isn't anything fancy, just a solid building where we’ve been hosting guests for a long time. The rooms are simple. We have windows that look out, though not all of them see the water. We spend a lot of time cleaning up sand that people track in from outside. It’s a constant battle for the staff. The guys are local, and they know where to find the best fish or which shops are actually worth going to. We don't have a big fancy lobby with fountains or anything. It's just a desk, some chairs, and a place to leave your bags. At night, the street gets a bit quieter, and you can hear the occasional car go by. We try to keep the fans working well because it gets humid here. Sometimes the paint peels a bit because of the sea air, so we’re always touching things up when we have a spare moment. It’s a relaxed sort of place. We don't rush around much, and we expect our guests are here to take it easy too. There’s no big corporate manual here, we just fix things as they break and try to stay helpful.
