Naushads Music World

Naushads Music World is tucked into the Luciya Complex. We are on Pumpwell Road, right across from Omega Hospital in Kankanady. It’s a busy area with a lot of people coming and going because of the hospital. Inside the shop, it’s all about the music. We have instruments around and various bits of gear. It’s not a giant showroom, just a local spot where people who care about music hang out. We’ve been here in Kankanady for quite a while now. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in, but that’s just how it is. You might hear someone testing out a guitar or a keyboard while you’re here. It’s not a quiet library, that’s for sure. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything fancy. It’s just us running the place and talking to whoever walks through the door. Some days it’s professional musicians, other days it’s just kids looking for their first instrument. We try to keep things simple and honest. The building itself is easy to spot once you’re on Pumpwell Road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a bit dusty sometimes with all the stuff we have, but it feels like home to us. We just enjoy being surrounded by music every day and helping people find what they need. There is always a tune playing somewhere.
