Keerti Grocery Store

Keerti Grocery Store is located right near the K.V.G. Ayurveda Medical College And Hospital. We are in Sullia, and being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of different people coming through our doors. Some are students from the college looking for snacks, and others are folks visiting family at the hospital who need a few essentials. The store isn't very big, but we try to keep the shelves full of the things people ask for the most. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess because we get deliveries in the middle of the day and there isn't much room to put the crates. I’ve been working here for a while, and the bell on the door is broken, so I just have to keep an eye out for when someone walks in. It’s mostly just me or one other person behind the counter. We have a small fridge for cold drinks that makes a loud humming sound all day. Sullia is a nice enough place, though it rains a lot, and we have to put out mats so people don't slip on the floor. We don't have any fancy scanners; we just know the prices or look at the stickers. It’s a simple life running a grocery store. We open early so the morning shift at the hospital can get what they need. It's a lot of standing around, but we like talking to the regulars.
