Baraka Overseas Traders

Baraka Overseas Traders is a small setup where we handle import and export stuff. We don't have a big fancy office with a receptionist. It’s mostly just us and a lot of shipping containers. The work involves a ton of phone calls to people in different time zones, so sometimes we’re here at odd hours. We deal with all sorts of goods depending on what’s in demand. The paperwork for customs is probably the hardest part of the job. It’s stacks of forms and stamps every single day. We keep our overhead low so we can keep going. The warehouse can get pretty disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we usually have it sorted out by the end of the week. We’ve had to learn a lot about international rules as we go. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes things get stuck at the port, and we have to spend all day on the phone trying to find out why. We don’t have any big slogans or mission statements written on the walls. We just want to move goods from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing. That’s just the nature of trading across borders. We've been doing this for years now.
