Kanachur Seasoning Industries

We are located right along Nh 17 in Kallapu Permannur, which makes it very easy for the drivers to find us, even if the traffic on the highway is a bit much sometimes. Kanachur Seasoning Industries is a place that smells like damp wood and rain, especially during the wetter months here. The yard is quite large because we need the space to move the heavy materials around. Most of the work happens under the large shed roofs that protect everything from the sun. It is a very hands-on environment. You will see people wearing boots and carrying measuring tapes throughout the day. The office is just a small room at the front with a view of the main road. We have a few old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits. We are usually covered in a bit of sawdust by noon. The highway noise is constant, a mix of buses honking and trucks shifting gears as they pass through Permannur. We stay busy with the local cycles of the seasoning process. When the power goes out, which happens now and then, we just take a break and sit outside on the stone wall. It is a steady pace of work. We have been at this location for a while, and the locals know us by the sound of the gate opening early every morning.
