Jsw Steel Limited

Our place is called Gandhot House and you can find us in Soorinje, which is over in the Katipalla area of Mangalore. Being in this part of Karnataka means we deal with a lot of rain for several months of the year. The office is not right in the middle of the city, so it stays a bit quieter than the main Mangalore streets. We are quite close to the coast, so the air is always a bit salty and humid, which isn't the best for steel, but we manage it. People around here mostly know us as the local Jsw Steel Limited branch. It is a functional space where we handle the daily paperwork and talk to drivers who are moving loads around the state. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations out front. It is just a regular house converted for our work needs. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages and we usually walk or take the bus. The pace is steady but we don't rush things too much. On hot days, the fans are always going full blast. It’s a decent place to work and everyone knows each other’s names. We just focus on getting the steel out to where it needs to go without making a big fuss about it. It is just a normal daily routine for us in 575030.
