At Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Pvt. Ltd., the day usually starts pretty early. We are located at Plot No-Z/103/F/1 and Z/103/F2 in the Gidc Estate. It is a dual-plot setup, so there is a bit of walking back and forth between the two areas. We deal with a lot of powders and chemical stuff, so everything has to be kept quite specific. It’s not like a regular shop where people just walk in. We have a lot of glass jars, pipes, and stainless steel tanks around. The air has a distinct smell to it, which you get used to after a few days. The Gidc Estate is a hectic place with trucks constantly trying to turn in narrow lanes. Our space is mostly taken up by equipment. There is a small area where we keep the records, but mostly it’s all about the lab and production floor. Some of the guys have worked here since the beginning. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just make sure the chemical batches are done. Sometimes the equipment needs fixing, and that takes up the whole afternoon. It’s just the way it goes here. We have some tea in the break area when things slow down for a minute. Then it’s back to the tanks. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of use over the years.
