Trishna Bar

We are tucked away inside the Akbari Continental Hotel right here on Haripur Road. Most folks in Cuttack know where Dolamundai is, and we have been sitting in this spot for quite a while now. It’s a bar, nothing too complicated about it. When the sun goes down and the traffic on Haripur Road gets a bit much, people come in to get a drink and just sit for a bit. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. The tables are sturdy and the AC works most of the time, which is what matters when it gets humid outside. The staff here has been around long enough to know the regulars by name. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s a game on the TV, but usually, it’s just the sound of people talking over their glasses. We serve the usual stuff you’d expect at a local bar. It isn't a place where you need to dress up or act like someone you aren’t. You just walk in, find a seat, and order what you want. We see a lot of travelers staying at the hotel and plenty of locals who just live down the street. It’s just how things are here in Dolamundai. We keep the place clean and make sure the drinks are cold. That’s really all there is to it. If you’re around the Haripur Road area, you’ll probably see our sign outside the hotel gate. Stop in if you feel like it.
