Sharma Studies

You can find Sharma Studies at D/904 in Sector 6 of CDA, Cuttack. We are quite close to the Kalinga Gas Depo. This part of Cuttack is a bit more planned than the old city, so it’s easier to find your way around the sectors. Our space is just a regular house-style setup that we use for classes. There’s a small yard in front where students park their cycles. Inside, it's pretty packed with books and notes. Cuttack gets very rainy during the monsoon, so we are always making sure the roof doesn't leak and the books stay dry. We have a few rows of benches. The atmosphere is very low-key. We aren't trying to be a big institution. It's just a place for people to come and learn. Usually, the teacher is sitting at a small desk near the front. We use a lot of handwritten notes because that’s how we’ve always done it. The gas depot nearby is a good landmark for anyone who is new to the area. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the trucks are moving, but mostly it's just the sound of pens scratching on paper. It's a very straightforward and practical place to spend your afternoon. We don't have any staff in uniforms or anything like that. It's just us. We’ve been in Sector 6 for a long time now and most people in the block know who we are. It's a quiet existence.
