Shakti Institute Of Mathematical Studies

Our place is located at Plot No 5 in Shakti Nagar, right near the Link Road in Cuttack. It is a decent spot because it is easy for people to find us without getting lost in the smaller lanes. We mostly focus on math here because that is what we know. It is called Shakti Institute Of Mathematical Studies, but most of the kids just call it the math center. We have been in this building for some time. It is not a new construction, so it has that lived-in feel which I think makes people feel more comfortable. The rooms are basic with just desks, chairs, and whiteboards. We do not spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers and helping students figure out their homework or prep for their exams. Cuttack can get really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans running all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many people show up at once, but we manage. We do not have a big team of people, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the office stuff. It is a quiet life for the most part, except when the school bells ring nearby and the streets get crowded. We just like doing our job and seeing the students get better at their sums.
