Rupak Kumar Mohanty

My name is Rupak Kumar Mohanty and I run this small teaching setup in Mahammadia Bazar. I’m located right opposite Durga Bawan, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Cuttack. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. This isn't a big school or a center with dozens of staff. It’s mostly just me working with students who need help with their studies. I use a couple of rooms in the building here. It stays fairly busy during the school season. I started doing this because I enjoy the process of explaining things until they finally click for someone. Mahammadia Bazar is a lively place to be. You get to see the daily life of Cuttack right outside the window every day. I don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People just know where I am and what I do through the local grapevine. The furniture is simple and the walls are covered with notes and charts. It’s a practical space for learning. If you’re looking for the place, just find Durga Bawan and I’m right across from it. I spend most of my day here, preparing for lessons or sitting with students. It’s a steady life and I like the routine of it. There’s no corporate fluff here, just a local person helping out local kids with their education. It’s been my way of life for quite some time now and I don't see that changing.
