Mapp Construction Llp is located in the Mahanadi Vihar area of Cuttack. Our office is on Plot No-1152, which isn't too hard to find if you know the neighborhood. Being near the river means we have to think about the ground and the moisture more than most builders. Cuttack is an old city with a lot of character, but the roads are tight and moving heavy machinery through Mahanadi Vihar can be a real headache. We spend a lot of time just planning out the logistics before we even start a job. The office is where we do all the boring stuff like the taxes and the payroll. It’s usually cluttered with blueprints and half-empty tea cups. We aren't some big firm from a skyscraper. We’re just a local crew that knows how to put up a solid structure. Some weeks we are swamped and I’m barely at home, and other weeks we are just waiting for the next contract to start. The weather plays a big part in what we can get done. When the monsoon hits, everything stops and we just focus on the indoor work or repairs. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns. We just rely on doing a decent job so the next person hears about us. It’s a plain way of working, but it has kept us going for a while now in this city. We just take it one day at a time.
