Lions Hotel

Lions Hotel sits out in Shankarpur on the Link Road in Cuttack. It’s a busy stretch of road and we have been here for quite some time now. Running a hotel in this part of town means there is always something to fix or a room to get ready. We aren't one of those big chain hotels with uniforms and scripts. It’s just us. We spend a lot of our time making sure the linens are clean and the rooms are ready for whoever might show up. The Link Road sees a lot of travelers and local traffic, so we get a mix of people staying with us. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it as it happens. That's life in Cuttack for you. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just see the sign from the road and pull in. We try to keep the place tidy and quiet so people can actually get some sleep. The building has its quirks, like that one door that always squeaks, but we like it here. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if it’s just a regular business. We focus on the basics like having enough water and keeping the lights on. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy every day of the week. We just do what needs to be done to keep the place running for the guests.
