Hello Kids is tucked away at House No.16 in Sector- 8 over here in CDA, Cuttack. It’s a residential area, so it feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. We started this place because there was a need for something local. Every morning, parents from around the neighborhood drop their little ones off before heading to work. It gets pretty loud with all the playing and singing, but you get used to it. The rooms aren't huge, but they fit what we need for the kids to sit and draw or play with blocks. Cuttack can get quite hot, so we try to keep the inside cool and comfortable for everyone. We spend a lot of time cleaning up toys and making sure the snacks are ready on time. It’s not a complicated operation. We just follow the basic schedule and make sure everyone is safe and accounted for. Dealing with toddlers means you never really know what the day will bring. Sometimes there’s a lot of crying, other times it’s just non-stop laughter. We have a small staff who lives nearby, which makes things easier when someone needs to stay late or come in early. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us here in Sector 8, doing the daily work of looking after the kids. Most people in the area know where we are since we've been at this address for a while now. We keep the gate shut and just focus on the day-to-day things.
