Shimmering Stars Play School

We are located over at Plot No 6 C 925/11 on Dr Tonpe Road in Cuttack. Being in CDA Sector 9, we are in a pretty decent residential spot. Shimmering Stars Play School is really just a small place for the little ones to start getting used to being away from home. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we have tried to make it nice for the children. There are a lot of plastic chairs and low tables where they sit to draw or eat their snacks. It gets quite noisy in the mornings when everyone arrives at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the cleaning. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids don't bump into things or lose their water bottles. The yard has a bit of space for them to run, though it isn't huge. We don't use any fancy educational jargon here. We just show the kids their letters and numbers and let them play with blocks. Sometimes we have to deal with scraped knees or lost shoes, but that is just part of the job. Most of our day is spent following a basic schedule of stories and play. It is a practical little school and we are happy to be part of the local community here in Cuttack.
