Green Essence Foundation

You can find the Green Essence Foundation over at Plot No. 1565/B in Andarpur. It’s right in the Kalyani Nagar area of Cuttack. If you have ever driven through Cuttack, you know how the narrow streets can be, but our spot is relatively easy to find once you get into the neighborhood. The office is just a plain building where we spend our hours dealing with the daily grind. We have some plants sitting on the windowsills, though some of them probably need more water than they get. It’s a local operation, so there isn’t a lot of polish or fancy furniture. We mostly use mismatched chairs and whatever desks we could find that fit the space. The traffic noise from Andarpur filters in through the windows, reminding us that the city is always moving. We don't really do the whole corporate thing; we just show up and handle the tasks that are sitting on our desks. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of filing to catch up on, and other times we leave early if the heat gets too bad. It’s a lived-in space that feels like a real workplace. We have some folders stacked up in the corner that we’ve been meaning to archive for months. It’s just how things go here in Cuttack. We focus on our work and try to stay organized. There is usually a stray cat that hangs around the entrance expecting a bit of food.
