Social Welfare Through Individuals Contributions

Our setup is located in the Bhanudaya Building over in Kesharpur. Shri Niranjan Prasad Mohanty, who used to be with the I.E.S before he retired, is the one looking after things here as CEO. We are right by the Buxi Bazar area. The whole idea is pretty simple, we just look for ways to help out through what people are willing to give. It is not a massive operation with a lot of funding. We rely on individual contributions to get things done in the community. You can find us in the office most days, just trying to organize whatever help is coming in. Sometimes it is small stuff, other times it is a bit more involved. We don't really do the big corporate style of charity. It is more about one person helping another. Kesharpur is a decent place to work from, and being near the post office makes things easier for mail. We've got a lot of respect for the folks who drop by to chip in. It makes a difference when you see people looking out for each other without being asked. Mr. Mohanty keeps things organized, but it is really a group effort from everyone who stops by the building. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just here if anyone wants to contribute or see what we are up to. It feels good to stay active in our retirement years.
