Freedom International School

You’ll find Freedom International School out in the Gangapur Salipur area, specifically in Bhattapara, Bahugram. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Cuttack city, which means it’s a quieter environment for the kids. We are set up in a place that feels very much like the heart of the countryside. The school has a big gate and a yard that gets quite a lot of use. We don't have a team of writers for this; it’s just us, the people who work here every day. Most of our staff comes from the nearby villages in Cuttack, so we know the families well. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We spend our time going through the lessons and making sure the kids stay on track. Sometimes the goats from the nearby farms wander near the fence, which the kids find funny. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t have any polished slogans or corporate talk. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks like keeping the registers updated and making sure the playground is safe. It’s a simple life out here in Bahugram. We provide a place for education where it’s needed, and we take pride in seeing our students do well in their exams without making a big fuss about it. The school building is painted a plain color and we try to keep the garden neat when we have the time.
