Nirai Foods

Nirai Foods is sitting right on the Cuddalore-Vridhachalam-Salem Road. We are at number 67 in Cuddalore Old Town. If you can find the Krishna Food Shop, we are located right near there. It is a very busy road with lots of big trucks and buses passing by all day and night. We set up here because it is easy for people to stop their vehicles. We mostly handle local food products from the region. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights. It is more of a warehouse with a small counter area in the front. The dust from the road gets inside sometimes, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. We aren't part of some big corporate company. It is just a few of us here trying to earn a decent living. We know many of the farmers around this area and buy what they grow. Sometimes the quality of the produce varies, but that is just how nature works. We don't use a lot of chemicals or preservatives in what we pack. We just sell things as they come. Our customers are mostly local folks from the town or travelers just passing through. We don't spend any money on advertisements. Word of mouth is usually enough for us. It is a bit loud with all the traffic noise, but we like the spot. We have been here for a while and have seen the road get wider. It is just us here doing our bit every day.
