Our address says Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, over on Venugopal Avenue. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Bangalore hub, but this is where we are based for this part of Hmshost Services India Pvt. Ltd. At Banglore. Number 18 is a simple building without any big glass windows or fancy lobbies. It’s just an office where we manage food services and airport stuff. Dealing with hospitality and travel means things are always moving fast. Spreadsheets and vendor calls take up most of our days. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important to keep the travelers fed. Cuddalore is a bit more relaxed than the big cities, but we still have plenty to do. Innovation and excellence are big words we don't really use here. We just try to make sure the food gets to the right place and the staff knows what they are doing. Most of us here just want to do a good job and head home to our families. We drink tea in the afternoons and complain about the heat when it gets really bad. It’s a normal office with normal people. We don't have a dress code really. Just show up and do what needs to be done. That is our routine every single day. We are just a group of people trying to keep things organized.
