Moorthy Cafe

Moorthy Cafe is at number 24 on Imperial Road in the Cuddalore Old Town area. We are located right opposite the 5Well Amman Temple, which is a very well-known landmark around here. The 607003 area of Cuddalore has its own pace, and things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We have been sitting on this road for quite a long time. You can usually hear the sounds from the temple across the street throughout the day. Our cafe isn't anything fancy or modern. It is just a place with some tables and chairs where people can sit for a while. We spend a lot of time brewing and making sure things are clean. The morning starts early for us because folks in Old Town like to get going before it gets too hot. Imperial Road can get a bit dusty and busy with bikes and people walking. We just stay in our spot and keep the doors open. Sometimes the fans are running all day to keep the heat away. It is just us here, a small team of local people. We don't really have a big plan or anything, we just show up and do what we've always done. People from the neighborhood stop in to say hello or grab something quick. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living in this part of Cuddalore. We just keep things moving along day by day. This street is our home.
