Our place is Kadaloor Uzhavar Producer Company Limited and you can find us at No.3, Rajavel Nagarpathirikuppam. We are a group of farmers from the Kadaloor area. The name "Uzhavar" just means farmer, and that is exactly who we are. We aren't business experts with suits. We are people who spend most of our lives in the dirt. We started this company because it was getting harder to do everything alone. By coming together in Rajavel Nagar, we can share tools or talk to the buyers as one big group instead of one by one. The office in Pathirikuppam is where we keep our files and where members come to get advice or share what they’ve learned about the latest crops. It gets a bit dusty and the fans are always humming to keep the heat away. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. We mostly focus on the reality of the fields. Some of us have been farming for decades, and some are just starting out. It is a mix of everyone. We just want to make sure the work we do in the sun all day actually puts food on the table. It is a simple goal. We stay busy with the planting cycles and the harvest times, and that is pretty much our whole world. No one here is looking for fame, just a way to keep the farms running properly.
