Universal Trading Company

We’ve been here on M.G. Road in Jaigaon for quite some time now. Our shop is right near Hotel Classic Inn, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us when they are passing through Alipurduar. It is a busy spot, especially with the border right there. We mostly just keep our heads down and handle the day-to-day trading. Some days are packed with people coming and going, and other days it is a bit quieter, giving us a chance to reorganize the shelves. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. The traffic on M.G. Road can get a bit much during the peak hours, but that is just how life is here in this part of the district. We deal with all sorts of items, and our inventory changes depending on what people are asking for lately. It is not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we try to keep things organized. Usually, you can find us at the counter or out back checking the latest stock that came in. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are because we have been here in Jaigaon for a long while. If you are walking past the hotel, you will see our sign. It is nothing special, just a local business trying to get the work done. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the neighbors while we wait for the next delivery truck to pull up.
