Karni Enterprise

At Karni Enterprise, we operate from M. M. Road in the Bhawaniganj Bazar area. We are located quite near the Head Post Office, which is where we go almost every day to send out mail or pick up documents. Bhawaniganj Bazar is a traditional market, and it’s always crowded with shoppers and rickshaws. Our shop is just a small part of that big picture. We have a counter at the front and shelves reaching up to the ceiling in the back. It’s a bit of a tight fit when we have a lot of stock, but we make it work. We don't really have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are. We have been on M. M. Road for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we have managed to stay put. Most of our work involves talking to people face to face. We don't use a lot of technical jargon. We just explain what we can do and how much it will cost. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink tea with the neighbors. Other days, we don't even have time to eat lunch. We don't mind either way. It’s just part of running a local business in a place like this. We like the rhythm of the bazar and the way everyone knows everyone else’s business. It keeps things interesting.
