Den Computers is located in Vivekananda Colony, over in the Kamakhyaguri area. We’ve been operating out of this P.O.-Kamakhyaguri address for quite a while now. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood compared to the main towns, which is fine by us. The shop itself is tucked away, so most people who find us are residents of the colony or folks who heard about us from their neighbors. We deal with a lot of older machines that people aren't ready to give up on yet. It’s common to see us hunched over a desk trying to find a specific screw or a compatible RAM stick. We don't have a massive inventory of brand-new stuff, but we keep the essentials like mice, keyboards, and some cables. The air in Kamakhyaguri is a bit fresher than the city, though it gets very humid during the monsoon months. We have to be careful about moisture getting into the components. It’s just a simple setup with a few work tables and a lot of power strips. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we open up in the morning and stay until the last job is done for the day. Sometimes that means working late under the fluorescent lights. It’s a steady life, just fixing what’s broken and talking to the people who stop by our place in Vivekananda Colony. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just do the repairs and keep the shop open for the local crowd.
