Wonder Beauty Parlour

Our little shop is tucked away on Ramasamy Street in the Town Hall area. If you know where Eswaran Street is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a bit of a tight street, typical for this part of Coimbatore, but we like it here. People usually find us when they’re out doing their daily errands. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the mirrors. We handle a lot of threading and hair coloring. It’s not a massive place with dozens of people working, which makes it feel a bit more quiet. We’ve got some old posters on the wall and the tools we use every day laid out on the counters. The floor is tile, easy to sweep when the hair starts piling up. We don’t really do fancy advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just see the sign while walking past. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for things to get back to normal, but that’s just how it is. It can get loud with the street noise outside, but once you’re in the chair, it feels different. We’ve been at number 6 for a good bit now. It’s just a simple beauty parlour for the local ladies. We focus on the work, making sure the cuts are straight and the colors look okay. It’s a steady life and we aren't trying to change that.
