White Orchid Holidays

We've been at 342, 5th Street Extension for a while now. If you know the Kalyan area in Gandhipuram, you’ve probably walked past us. It’s a busy spot. White Orchid Holidays is just a small team of us sitting in the office, usually surrounded by stacks of papers and ringing phones. Most days start with us checking the latest updates and seeing who needs help with their plans. People come in looking for different things, maybe a quick trip or something longer. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just some chairs and a desk where we work. Gandhipuram gets quite loud with all the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on getting the details right for whoever walks through the door. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when three people call at once, but that’s just how it goes here. We grew up around Coimbatore, so we know the roads and the shortcuts. It’s not a corporate setup with suits. It’s just us. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to drivers. If you’re coming from the main road, the turn near Kalyan is the easiest way to find the building. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New shops open up and others close, but we’re still here at the same extension. It’s a simple life, really, just making sure people get where they need to go without too much fuss.
