Marlin is over on Kamraja Road in K. K. Pudur, at number 76. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything that screams for attention. Mostly, we just focus on the daily tasks at hand. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels quite local. We’ve got a few rooms where we keep our stock and the small office area. It can get a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we’re all tripping over boxes for a day or two. The people working here have lived in this part of town for years. We know the tea stall owner and the guy who fixes the scooters down the street. It’s that kind of place. We aren't trying to expand into a global empire or anything; we just like running a steady business that works for us and our customers. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We do our work, talk to the people who come in, and go home to our families. Some days are slow, which gives us time to clean up or catch up on paperwork. Others are a bit of a scramble. That’s just how it goes at Marlin. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think about doing it any other way.
