V K Tours & Travels sits on Sowripalayam Road in the Puliyakulam area of Coimbatore. We have been in this same spot for quite a while. It’s a busy road and there is always something going on outside. The office is simple and practical because that is all we really need. We spend our time booking trips for people and checking on bus timings. A lot of folks from around Puliyakulam come to us when they need to get somewhere else in the state. We don’t have a big corporate office with fancy decorations. It is just a place where you can get a ticket and ask a few questions about the route. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, but we get through it. It isn't a very large operation, just a local business helping neighbors out with their travel plans. We know the drivers and we know which buses are usually on time. It is a bit noisy with the traffic on Sowripalayam Road, but we are used to it by now. We just do our work, talk to the customers, and make sure the bookings are done right. It’s a regular job for us and we’ve been doing it long enough to know the routine inside out. It's just how we run the shop.
