Our place is over on Texpark Road in Nehru Nagar. Coimbatore is full of these small tech and automation shops, and we are just one of them. We occupy unit 410/2. It is mostly a space filled with wires, sensors, and half-finished control panels. We spend a lot of time debugging code or trying to figure out why a motor isn't turning the way it should. It isn't a very pretty office; there are boxes of components stacked in the corners and solder fumes in the air sometimes. We started this because we liked building things. Now we spend most of our time helping local factories automate their lines. It is practical work. Sometimes we are out at a client's site all day, and other times we are hunkered down here at the bench. The neighborhood is okay, though the traffic near Nehru Nagar can get backed up during shift changes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock on the door, one of the engineers will probably answer with a screwdriver in their hand. We just like solving the puzzles that come with machines. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. We have been here for a few years and have gotten to know the other guys on Texpark Road pretty well. It is a decent community of makers and fixers.
