Down in Irugur, we have our place set up at 16 B Anna Nagar. Ramesh Kannan is usually around the office or out back checking on things. It is one of those spots in Coimbatore where you can hear the machines running from the street if the wind is blowing the right way. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it holds up well enough for what we do. There is usually some grease on the floor and some metal scraps in the corners because that is just the nature of the work. We don't spend much on decorations because we are mostly focused on getting the orders out. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually the highlight when we all take a quick break. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we keep the fans going full blast. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which gives us a chance to sit outside and chat. We are not some huge corporation with fancy suits. Most of us wear work clothes that have seen better days. It is just a practical place for practical work. If you find yourself in Anna Nagar, you will probably see our sign, though the paint is peeling a little at the edges now.
