Tata Aig Life Insurance Company Ltd

Our office is set up in Meenanikkottil House over in Perumudiyoor Post. It is located in the Pattambi area of Palakkad District in Kerala. Tata Aig Life Insurance Company Ltd might sound like a big name, but here in this house, it’s just us handling the local policies and claims for our neighbors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from people explaining the different forms they need to sign. It can get a bit confusing with all the rules and fine print, so we try to just talk normally about it. The office is tucked away, so it’s usually quiet unless we have a few people visiting at once for their paperwork. We’ve got stacks of files and a computer that is a little slow some mornings when we turn it on. Kerala weather means we are often dealing with heavy rain hitting the roof while we work inside. We aren't here to give some big sales pitch or talk about targets. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or from the nearby villages around Pattambi. We just help them figure out their insurance stuff so they don't have to worry about it later on. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure the names are spelled right on the certificates. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or what's happening in the district. It is a simple life at Meenanikkottil House. We just show up and do the admin work.
