Taraa Spices

If you're looking for us, we're on the first floor of the Elusiyam Center. It's right on Puliakulam Main Road, not too far from Carmal School. We’ve been at this B2B spot for a bit now. We mostly focus on spices. It gets pretty aromatic in the hallways of the center, and people usually know when we’re grinding something just by the smell near the stairs. We don't have a massive warehouse, just this space on the first floor where we manage everything. It’s a lot of weighing and measuring. We started Taraa Spices because we saw a lot of people looking for specific blends that weren't always easy to find in the bigger stores. We do the work ourselves, from checking the raw seeds to getting them packed up. It isn't always glamorous work. Some days we're just moving boxes around or cleaning the equipment so everything stays tidy. We don’t really have a marketing person or a fancy website. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down orders in a notebook. We like being near the school because it's a familiar landmark for everyone. The traffic on Main Road can be a headache in the afternoons, but we manage. We just try to do an honest day's work and keep the customers happy with what they get in their bags. It’s a small, local thing and we like it that way.
