Swapna Beauty Parlour

Swapna Beauty Parlour is situated on the first floor of the Vka Complex on Mettupalayam Road. We are in the Gnanambika Mills area, right near the G N Mills Post and not too far from Kongunadu Arts College. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students coming in between their classes or after they finish for the day. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy Mettupalayam Road, which is always packed with trucks and buses headed out of Coimbatore. The parlor itself is a modest space. We have a few stations set up for hair and skin work. It’s mostly women who come here for their regular threading, waxing, or hair coloring. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed, away from the noise of the main road downstairs. We are just local people doing this work for the residents and students around G N Mills. We don't use a lot of fancy terminology or try to sell products that people don't need. Usually, our customers just tell us what they want, and we do our best to make it happen. It’s a busy life, and we are just happy to have a steady stream of people coming through the door. We keep the mirrors clean and the chai ready for when things slow down a little.
