Sujith Spices

Sujith Spices is based in Vk Pudur, over in the Guniyamudhur area. It’s a quiet enough place most of the time. We handle all sorts of spices here, mostly things people use in their kitchens every day. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the business well. The work involves a lot of weighing and bagging, which keeps our hands busy. The air always smells like coriander and cumin. Sometimes the bags get heavy, but we’re used to it. We don't do much in terms of fancy packaging. We just use what is practical and keeps the spices fresh. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or the local shopkeepers who buy from us. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. If people want to find us, they usually just ask around the neighborhood or come directly to the door. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve stayed in this part of Guniyamudhur because we like the community here. Everyone knows everyone, which makes doing business a bit more personal. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when the sun goes down just to catch the breeze. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just make sure the orders are filled and that we have enough stock for the next day. It's a decent way to earn a living without too much fuss.
