Star Hair Cut

You can find us at number 520 in Sukrauwarpettai, right near the Town Hall area of Coimbatore. We are very close to the Murugan Kovil, so in the mornings we can hear the temple bells and smell the incense and flowers from the stalls nearby. It is a very traditional part of town, and our shop fits right in. We have been doing hair cuts here for a long time. The shop is small and simple, with just a few chairs and the basic tools we need. We don't go in for any of the modern fancy decorations; we just have our mirrors and a place for people to sit while they wait. The men from the neighborhood come in regularly, some for a shave every couple of days and others just for a monthly trim. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It is a friendly place where people talk about the local news or the price of things in the market. We keep the place as clean as we can, though the hair gets everywhere by the end of a busy Saturday. We don't have any big promises to make, we just do the work we know how to do. If you are visiting the temple or just passing through Town Hall, you can stop by. We usually have a bit of a wait during the festival times, but otherwise, you can get in and out pretty quickly. It is just a local shop.
