Out here in Jeeva Nagar, things are pretty quiet compared to the main city. We’ve got our small place set up in the Kapasi Complex, right near the Aerodrome area. It’s a simple hair shop. We have a few chairs and the usual mirrors. Most of our regulars live in the housing unit nearby, so we know most faces that walk through the door. It’s not just about cutting hair; it’s where guys come to sit for a bit and talk about what’s going on in Coimbatore. We usually open up early before the heat gets too bad. You can find us easily because we’re right near Kabilesh Medical. Sometimes kids come in after school for a trim, or the older men stop by on their way back from the market. We don't do anything too complicated, just standard haircuts and shaves. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a small space, but we keep it tidy enough. On weekends, it gets crowded and people have to wait on the bench outside. We try to work through the line as fast as we can without rushing the job. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here. No big frills, just scissors and combs and a bit of conversation to pass the time while we work.
