Sri Angalamman Steels

We have been operating Sri Angalamman Steels for quite some time now over at 12/6 Kuttai Thottam. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular spot in the Vellakinar Post area where we keep the inventory and handle the daily orders. Most days start early, usually around eight when the first trucks show up. The yard gets dusty and the sun can be quite a lot, but that is just how the steel business goes in this part of town. People around here know the address well because we have stayed in the same patch of Kuttai Thottam without moving. We spend a lot of time checking the loads and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, and the phone doesn't stop ringing, but we just take it one task at a time. It is mostly just hard work and getting the metal where it needs to go. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here at the post. Some people find us because they saw the sign on the road, while others have been coming by for years because they live nearby. The kettle is usually on if the guys have a break. We just try to keep things moving and stay organized in our own way. It gets loud when the heavy stuff is moving, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. It is a simple life and we just do our jobs.
