We set up shop at No.56 in the V.V.C. Layout. It is a decent spot for a trading company because it is easy for the trucks to come and go without getting stuck in too much traffic. When you walk in, you will see piles of aluminium sections and sheets leaning against the walls. It is not the most organized looking place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The light comes in through the front and hits the metal, making the whole place look very bright and shiny in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by to see what we have in stock. It is a lot of lifting and moving heavy metal around, which keeps us busy all day. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings and dust, no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the day. V.V.C. Layout is a quiet enough area, so we do not have to deal with too much noise from the outside. We eat our lunch in a small room at the back where it is a bit cooler. It is just a straightforward trading business where we handle the metal coming in and going out. People around here know us as the place at number 56. We do not do much advertising; most people just hear about us from someone else or see the shop when they are driving through.
