Citi Channel

Citi Channel is located over at No.1 Vallalar Nagar in Vadavalli. It’s a small operation mostly. We have some cameras and some editing desks tucked away in the office. It isn’t a massive studio like you see on TV, but it works for what we do here. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the bikes and the local traffic, which sometimes makes it hard when we are trying to record something quiet. We’ve been in Vadavalli for a while and most of the neighbors know who we are. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the carpet is a bit worn out near the front door where everyone walks. We spend a lot of time checking cables and making sure the signal is actually going out like it’s supposed to. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to scramble to get everything back up and running. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of technical stuff and talking to people about what’s happening in the area. We have a couple of old monitors that flicker a bit, but we know how to give them a tap to make them behave. It’s just a local channel office where we try to stay on top of the daily grind. It’s nothing too complicated, just a few of us working together in a small space to keep things going.
