You can find us on the main stretch of the Mettupalayam to Sakthy Road. Being right on the road makes it easy for people to get here, though the traffic can be a bit much during the rush hours. The institution is a fairly large place in Coimbatore, with different buildings for different things. We have a lot of space, which is good because there are always people moving around. The air is a bit fresher here than right in the middle of the city, maybe because of all the trees on the way to Mettupalayam. Inside, the hallways are long and the floors are made of that grey stone that stays cool. We have plenty of classrooms, and they all look pretty much the same—rows of benches and big windows. Sometimes the wind blows the curtains around quite a bit. We don't do anything flashy. It is just a place for education. The staff here are locals mostly, and we spend our breaks talking about the weather or local news while drinking tea. We’ve got a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We open up, the buses arrive, and then the whole place fills up with noise until the afternoon. It’s a lot of work to keep a place this size running, but we just take it one task after another. Sree Saraswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer Institution is just part of the landscape here now, sitting by the road.
