You will find us at SF No 272, right on the Mettupalayam Road in Perianaickenpalayam. It is a busy stretch of Coimbatore, and the school is a landmark for many people living around here. The gate is right by the main road, so we get a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by. Inside the compound, it is a bit quieter. We have several buildings connected by concrete walkways. The trees help keep the dust down, but it still finds its way into the classrooms through the vents. We have high ceilings and large windows to help with the ventilation. The staff room is always full of chatter and the smell of coffee during the morning break. We spend our time checking the uniforms and making sure the assembly goes off without a hitch. The students here are quite active, and you will see them playing on the grounds whenever they get a chance. The science labs have that specific smell of chemicals and old wood, which has not changed in years. We do not have anything too modern or flashy; it is a sturdy, practical school building. Most of the staff live in the surrounding areas of Coimbatore and take the local buses to get here every day. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are actually understanding what is written on the board. It is just hard work.
