Smriti Creations

Smriti Creations is tucked away in the Kovai ENT Hosital Complex over on Sathy Main Road in Gnapathy. Being inside a hosital complex in Coimbatore means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. Some are just passing through after an appointment, and others live right nearby. We have been here for a while now, and the shop is just a small place filled with things we pick out ourselves. Most days start early, around nine or ten, after the traffic on Sathy Road gets really loud. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding things because people like to see everything before they decide. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people come in at once, but we manage just fine. The light in the shop isn't always the brightest, so we often take things to the doorway so folks can see the colors better. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes we run out of space for new stock, so we have to pile things up on the back chairs. Coimbatore weather can get pretty hot, so the fan is always running. We talk to the regulars about their families and what's happening in Gnapathy. It’s just how we do things here at Smriti Creations. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just open the doors and see who comes in today.
