Seakings Ice Creams

Seakings Ice Creams has been a part of R S Puram for quite a while now. We aren't one of those big national chains with neon signs everywhere. It’s just our little shop where we keep the freezers running all day and night. R S Puram can get really hot, so people are always coming in looking for something cold to eat. We spend a lot of time cleaning floors and making sure the scoops are clean. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We have all the usual flavors, and sometimes we try out something new if we feel like it. The shop gets pretty crowded in the evenings when families come out for a walk. We know a lot of the regulars by name, or at least by what they usually order. Sometimes the kids get a bit messy with the cones, but that’s just part of the business. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on the fact that people like ice cream and they know where we are. The chairs in the shop are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough for a quick snack. We just keep our heads down and keep the compressors running so the ice cream stays solid. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. We like being in this neighborhood and seeing the same faces every week. We just try to keep the coolers full.
