Sakthi Trading

Sakthi Trading is located at No-22 on Gurusamy Pillai Street in Podanur. It’s a relatively small street, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for the occasional delivery truck coming through. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. The building is older, and you can see that in some of the corners, but it’s a sturdy place to work. We don't have a big storefront with neon lights or fancy displays. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we keep our stock and handle all the paperwork. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and making sure things are moving where they need to go on time. We don't have a PR team or anyone to write nice things about us for the newspapers. We just handle the trading side of things as best as we can. Some days the boxes pile up high and it’s a bit hard to walk through the aisles, but we always get through it by the end of the week. We know everyone on the street by now, from the tea seller to the other shop owners. It’s that kind of neighborhood where people look out for each other. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world or anything like that. We just want to do our job well and go home. The floor is concrete, the fans are a bit loud when it's hot, and the coffee is usually strong. It’s a real working environment.
