Relationship Manager Life Insurence

I’m over at 1 118 Gandhi Nagar in Mettupalayam. Working in Life Insurence as a Relationship Manager means I talk to a lot of people about things they don’t always want to think about. It’s a small office in a quiet part of town. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of others sitting at our desks with the windows open to catch the breeze. Mettupalayam is a nice place, especially with the hills not too far away. My desk is always piled high with forms and policy documents. It takes a lot of patience to go through it all. People come in to ask about their plans or to update their details. I try to explain things in plain English, or Tamil if that's what they prefer. We don’t use those corporate scripts you hear on the phone. It’s just us talking like normal people. Some days it gets pretty busy, especially at the end of the month when everyone is trying to get their papers sorted. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office has been here at this address for quite a while now. It’s a reliable spot where folks know they can find us if they have a question about their insurance stuff. I keep a spare umbrella by the door for when the rain starts unexpectedly during the monsoon.
