Annamallai Finance

We are located at what used to be Old No 317, but now they call it New No 126 A, right in Karunanithi Nagar. It's near the Sahscollege post office area in Coimbatore. Annamallai Finance has been part of this street for quite some time. The building is an older style, but it’s sturdy and keeps the heat out during the summer. We have a few people working here, mostly sitting at the heavy wooden desks we’ve had since the start. It’s a local business, so we know most of the people who walk in by their first names. We don't do things the way big banks do. We prefer sitting down and talking through things over a glass of water. There’s a lot of writing in ledgers and keeping track of numbers, which is what we do all day long. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with the college students passing by, but we don't mind it much. Our office stays fairly busy, especially around the start of the month when everyone has things to settle. We keep the place clean, though the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do our work, and go home to our families in the evening. It’s a simple way of living and working that has suited us for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping things steady.
