Rathi Beauty Parlour is over at 423, 1st Street in Gandhipuram. We are right opposite GP, which is a well-known spot in this part of Coimbatore. Gandhipuram is always bustling, and 1st Street is no exception. There are shops everywhere and people are always looking for a place to park their bikes. Our parlour is a small, honest setup. We have a few chairs for hair work and a small area for other beauty stuff. It’s not a place with fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We just use what we have and keep it clean. The street noise is part of the experience here; you can always hear the city moving. We get a lot of people who are just passing through Gandhipuram for shopping or work. The shop has been here for some time, so the walls have a bit of character. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people just see the sign or hear about us from a neighbor. It gets pretty hot in the middle of the day, so we usually have the fan on full speed. We do the basic stuff that people need. It’s a simple life running a parlour in such a busy area. We open the doors, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to walk in. There is a tea stall nearby where we get our morning chai before starting the first appointment. It’s just a normal part of the 1st Street community.
