Raj Beauty Centre

It’s been quite a while since Raj Beauty Centre first opened here in Shop No 2 of the G L Complex on Raja Street. We are tucked away in that little area near Uppukinar Lane in Coimbatore. Most days start pretty early because there is always something to clean or prep before anyone walks through the door. It is a small space, nothing fancy, just some chairs and mirrors and the usual tools we need to get the job done. People around 641001 know where we are because of the busy street outside. Sometimes the traffic is loud, but inside we just focus on the work. We handle a lot of threading and basic hair stuff. It isn’t always perfect, sometimes the power goes out or it gets a bit cramped when three people show up at once without calling first. We try to keep things simple here. There is no big front desk or anyone to answer phones all day. If we are busy with a customer, the phone just rings. That’s just how it goes in a small shop like this one. We have seen a lot of faces from the neighborhood over the years. Some people have been coming since they were kids. It’s mostly just us working through the list of names in the diary and making sure the floor is swept between every visit. Nothing corporate about it, just a local spot on Raja Street where we do our best to keep things moving.
